This is Matt Hall’s 24th year in education, 21st year at Spain Park High School, and his 11th year as head coach of the Spain Park Boys Soccer program. During his time as head coach he has led the Jaguars varsity soccer program to the playoffs multiple years, culminating in winning the 7A boys state soccer championship in 2021, the first state championship in the boys soccer program. He currently holds a C License from the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) and an Advance National Diploma from the United Soccer Coaches organization. Besides coaching at the high school level, Coach Hall has served as a club coach in the Birmingham area for the past 25 years. He is also in his 24th year of education, teaching US History at Spain Park High School the past 21 years. Coach Hall is a graduate of Samford University in 2001 with a degree in Education in social science and attained his master degree in education from the University of Montevallo in 2016. Coach Hall lives in Birmingham with his wife Lauren, and sons Jackson and Barrett.
