On Thursday night the Spain Park wrestling team hosted Mountain Brook with Mountain Brook winning 69-9.  Bradley Williams (157 lbs. ) got the lone pin for the Jaguars. 
One of the tightest matches of the evening was at 144 lbs. where Sawyer Hardy defeated Christopher Brown 4-0.  After the first two periods, the match was scoreless, as   Sawyer took the top position in the second period and rode out his opponent.  Sawyer took the down position in the third period and escaped to take a 1-0 lead.  At the buzzer he got a takedown to go up 4-0.
