On Friday and Saturday, the Spain Park wrestling team competed in the AHSAA Super Sectional South tournament in Montgomery resulting in three medalists and qualifying seven wrestlers for the State competition.  The top 6 wrestlers in each weight class qualified for next week's championship in Huntsville.

Champion
     6A 157  Bradley Williams (4-0) placed 1^st with three pins and a tech fall.

Second
     6A 126  London Ford (3-1) placed 2^nd with three tech falls.

Third
     6A 175  Israel Anders (5-1) placed 3^rd with two pins, a tech fall, a major decision, and a decision.

Other State Qualifiers:

     6A 106  Seth Isaminger (3-3) placed 6^th with two pins and a decision.

     6A 113  JP Isaminger (4-2) placed 5^th with a pin, a tech fall, and two major decisions.

     6A 165  Carlos Flores (3-3) placed 6^th with a pin, a tech fall, and a major decision.
     6A 190  John Maalouf (3-2) placed 5^th with two pins and a decision.

     6A 138  Adam Moore (2-2) with a pin and a decision.

     6A 144  Matthew Iwanski (1-2) with a pin.

     6A 150  Hayden Hannah (1-2) with a forfeit.
