The Spain Park Jaguars baseball team fell to Prattville 10-7 on Opening Day of the 2026 season Thursday at Prattville High School.
Prattville got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Christian Alexander tripled to center field, Sean Smith singled down the right field line, and Adam Kramer grounded out, each scoring one run.
Andrew Kincaid earned the win for the Lions, surrendering one hit and no runs over three innings, striking out three and walking two.
Houston Holmes took the loss for the Jaguars. He went gave up four runs on seven hits, struck out one and gave up no walks in 3.1 innings.
Spain Park piled up nine hits in the game.
Ryne Paquette led Jaguars with two RBIs from the number nine spot in the lineup.

Slade Bounds,
Brodie Bragg, and
Tristan Slimp each collected two hits for Spain Park. Bragg also had 2 of the team's seven walks. Spain Park's defense turned two double plays in the game.
On Saturday, the Jaguars will play Hartselle & American Christian in the PBR Kickoff Classic at River Run Park in Northport.
