Abby King collected three hits in three at bats, as Spain Park defeated James Clemens 9-3 on Saturday morning in Vestavia's Red & Blue Classic. King hit a solo home run to right field in the second inning, singled in the fourth inning, and singled in the third inning.

King stepped in the circle first for Spain Park. The left-handed pitcher surrendered three hits and one run over four innings, striking out four and walking two. South led things off in the circle for James Clemens. The righty gave up four hits and four runs over three innings, striking out two and walking none.
Maxie Provost appeared in relief for Spain Park.
Provost and King each drove in two runs for Spain Park Varsity Jaguars. Chloe Wade collected two hits for the Jaguars in three at bats and the team stole four bases in the game.
